Charlotte Banks is a British-American fashion designer specialising in knitwear.

She graduated with First Class Honours in Fashion Design from Manchester School of Art in 2020, before founding her independent label, Octavia Banks, in London. Working with a small, all-female studio team, she developed collections centred on craftsmanship, material experimentation and textile-led design, including hand-marbled garments and knitwear.

In 2024, Charlotte moved to the Scottish Borders to join Barrie, the historic cashmere manufacturer and Chanel Métiers d’Art house. Working in product development, she developed knitwear for leading international luxury fashion houses, gaining extensive experience in both traditional craftsmanship and industrial knitwear development.

In 2025, she joined the MA Fashion programme at Central Saint Martins, where she is currently developing her graduate collection ahead of completing the course in 2027.
